Tokyo files media summary: Hakone Ekiden, Bamboo, and Shinjuku

My primary blog was approaching its storage limits, so I started uploading photos to this blog and linking from those blog posts to this site. Here’s a summary of recent entries:

(1) Hakone Ekiden:

(2) Bamboo forests

Bamboo also features prominently in the film Kuroneko “Black Cat” (1968).

(3) Shinjuku streetcar and Golden Gai
